dont run true to size AT ALL
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
but a half size bigger or they will kill your feet after about 5 mins of walking. and as for skateboarding, these are not that great.. but they do look good with a pair of skinny jeans…

Great Shoes
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
These shoes were really nice. Unfortunately for me, they sent me the wrong size (a 9 instead of an 11.) The company responded quickly and offered to swap them out but I didn’t bother sending them back. I gave them to my younger cousin. He loves them and they’re comfortable. So I can’t give a bad review for the product itself. After 9 months of wearing them, they’re still going strong for him.

Good Shoes

I bought a pair a week ago. I was worried about the sizing since I usually have to wear a wide in sneakers. The width was good and the shoe was true to size. They have been very comfortable. I would buy these again.

Almost perfect buy

Great shoe in a logical price.
As for the service was excellent and the delivery fast enough.
The only problem is that some sewings on the one shoe are crooked.

Great deal

We ordered two pairs of shoes from this retailer. They were very good deals and were very quickly delivered to us even with standard shipping. We are very happy with this transaction. (We: me, the one who pays, and my son, the one with who tears through skateboarding shoes at an alarming rate.)

I disagree that they’re heavy duty shoes. Quite the opposite I would say. They’re thin soled with a slim profile (compared to normal fatty skate shoes of course). I’m a huge fan of the thinner tongue and the short break in time. That being said, they’re not that durable both in terms of skating and regular wear and tear. The sole splits fairly easily (started the first time I wore them) and my friend’s AL50 only lasted him 3 weeks of skating. Also I’m a sucker for lace protectors, and since these don’t have them, prepare to rip through lots of laces. Another way they can improve it is by adding a gel insert under the heel to improve the cushioning of these thin soled kicks. Ultimately, they are well priced, good looking and comfortable shoes. But if you’re looking for a similar but more durable skateshoes, I recommend the C1RCA 208 vulcs since they don’t have all the short comings I’ve mentioned above.

comparable to etnies skate shoes
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Been using this for about a week or so. I’m a big etnies fan since the last couple of pairs lasted me a long time through my on-the-feet jobs.
I don’t know how durable this pair of shoes will be, but it’s comfortable and I like the chocolate suede material. I wear it to classes all the time.
Edit: 9/16/08
After less than a month of normal wear as a college student walking around campus, there are already very visible wear and I am starting to wonder how durable this is, and whether or not I’m going to be able to wear it through the semester.
It’s comfortable, though.
