I first discovered Smart Wool socks one winter here in Minnesota when my feet were cold all day at work and I was miserable. I went to our local branch of a sporting goods co-op and asked the clerks for help. When they pointed me in the direction of Smart Wool, I insisted I couldn’t get those because wool makes me itch. They promised these would not so I took a chance.
Am I ever glad! They were right. I can wear these socks without itching. Now I don’t wear them only in the winter, I wear them with casual slacks and jeans all year long. Locally I can only get them in black so I’m excited to see the colors available on Amazon.
My only complaint is that they don’t seem to last as long as nylon socks (I wear them out at the heel), but the difference in comfort makes up for that.

My feet have always been cold. I can’t believe the difference when I wear the smartwool socks. I am recommending them to others.
