Very Nice Smartwool Ombre Crew

I got some for myself and my mother. Got charcoal and taupe–they didn’t show a navy choice when I ordered them. These are among my favorite socks. I have some striped design Smartwool socks that I also got recently and they don’t have as comfortable fit and texture. These Ombre Crew ones are very comfy and a really good fit. Not too thick. They are evenly thick all around. I like the fact that they do not have extra padding on soles like some socks (and Smartwool socks) sometimes do, because those kinds can make a too-tight fit into certain shoes. 4 stars instead of 5 because the cost is high and ALSO I prefer socks that blend in with what you are wearing and are usable across the board —that means without decorative and “cutsie” designs. (These are actually fairly blendable but have a design around the top that I could do without, or have ONLY at the very top where it won’t show ….unfortunately many of the better fitting sock companies don’t offer low profile color choices. Perhaps they want their socks to stand out for advertising puposes?–instead they probably just lose sales because when needing such a sock I don’t buy/wear theirs). Also I like a choice of colors that would match various colors of jeans and slacks, and these are a fairly usable color, but don’t come in navy. If you want a comfortable fabric and fit, though, this is it. True to size. I got a M and wear 8-8.5 shoe and wash and dry with reg. laundry. Mom wears a 10 and got a large, but she said hers was just right…and would wash to avoid shrinkage.

I bought my mom thes for chirstmas and she loves them. Very comfortable and help with her not so great circulation.

These socks are incredibly comfortable and soft, and the natural fiber keeps your feet dry. I wear them all winter long with shoes and boots.They hug the arches of your feet so they don’t fall down. My only complaint is that they are not quite as tall as my winter boots. Still, I love them and wish they were the only kind of socks in my drawer!
