Has anyone installed after-market HIDs on 07 Toyota Camry?

I have 07 Camry SE and have been thinking of getting HID lights for it. I did some research and came across an article which basically said that even the brand name HIDs in the US (like Phillips, Bosch, or McCulloch) are fake. the camry is a easy install but make sure you get kit that are true plug and play some say that but you need to add a wiring to the battery to make certain cars work. i did buy one from ebay but… i had a lot of hassle (it was my fault though) but i finally bought a kit from

p.s. make sure you get the right bulbs and i recommend getting them in 8000k they look the best out of all the colors. your car should be a H11 bulb but just double check to make sure.

I just heard at work (Large Retail Store) that one of our installers here talked with another car stereo retail store and he heard that Panasonic and Sony were going stop making car audio. Panasonic has already stopped and Sony will stop manufacturing in the near future. Things like car stereos, amplifiers, subwoofers, and such.

Anyone hear anything about this? Is Sony going to stop making car audio?
